Alan Alquest is a 1981 graduate of Mulvane High School in Mulvane, KS. Alan attended WSU and received his EMT certification in 1984. Alan was a member of the Mulvane Civil Defense Fire Department from 1982-1986 as a volunteer. He moved to Ponca City, Oklahoma in 1984 and worked as a Firefighter EMT until 1988, when he moved back to Kansas and was hired as a Firefighter for Boeing Fire Protection. Alan began working and moving up to positions including FF, Driver/Operator, Crew Chief, and Inspector, and is currently working as a Captain overseeing the daily operation. Alan began working for Winfield EMS and Winfield EMS Reserves in 1992 as an EMT, where he currently holds the title of President of the reserve program.
