Winfield Area EMS Reserves is currently looking for dedicated and motivated individuals that would like to be a part of a professional organization. It is important to everyone in the Reserve program to have fun, but know when it is time to be serious. If you enjoy the atmosphere of the Country Round-Up, the Walnut Valley Festival, or any of the other events listed below, being a volunteer for EMS Reserves is a way to make your contribution to ensure everyone remains safe and to take care of those that need medical attention. It also provides you with the opportunity to maintain your medical skills that you may not use everyday. Knowledge and skill is continuously learned through field experience, which is what this organization provides.
Winfield EMS Reserves provides medical coverage for multiple events throughout the county including:
- Kanza Days
- Winfield Country Round-Up
- Cowley County Fair
- K&O Gas & Steam Engine Show
- Walnut Valley Festival
- Go-Kart Races
- Motocross Races
