LeAnna Setzkorn entered EMS when she took an EMT class at Independence Comm. College after the birth of her severely handicapped daughter to be able to handle emergencies she might have. She began working as an EMS Reserve with Independence EMS and found a love for the career. LeAnna furthered her education by becoming an EMT-I, EMT-D, then attending Hutchinson Comm. College to become a Paramedic. LeAnna graduated from Hutchinson Comm. College in 2008 from the MICT/RN bridge program and is also working as a nurse, however, she will always be a Paramedic at heart. LeAnna has worked for McPherson EMS Reserves and Reno County EMS. She has worked for Winfield EMS since 2006.
