Rotation Schedule
- The technicians maintain a 4 day rotating schedule.

•  24 hrs of 1st out spent at the hospital
  • 0800-1700 hrs used as productive time to maintain skills and provide assistance to busy parts of the hospital. 1700-0800 hrs used at the descretion of the technician when not running emergency calls.
• 24 hrs of Recall or 2nd out
  • Techs maintain an "on-call" status. They are not required to stay at the hospital, but must still be available in situations where more than one ambulance is required (multiple patients, multiple calls, etc.).
• 48 hrs Off

Fleet:

Winfield EMS currently has 4 ambulances licensed to run emergency calls. All four of the ambulances are Type III (van-chassis). Each crew is designated an ambulance to use on their 1st out and recall days.

EMS recently acquired a Gator and has outfitted it with emergency lights and equipment to use at events as a first response vehicle as well as in rescue situations where an ambulance may not be the best choice.
